Happy Birthday Barrett--7 years old

My sweet boy, you have grown up so much this year.  You have the sweetest heart.  You care deeply for everyone around you.  You are the peacemaker of our family and try to please both Braeden and Brooklynn all the time.  Your teacher this year, Mrs. Thomas sent me a text on Thanksgiving day and this is what it said, "As I count my blessings I keep thinking of your precious Barrett.  As he wrote of his blessings yesterday he included family and God!  He is such an encouragement to me!  God has filled him with tenderness and love! And a wonderful family who teaches him to put God first!  I am thankful for you Barrett and for your family.  God has blessed me!  I love you. "  You are a precious gift from God and loved by all.  Thank you for being a blessing to us all!!!

This year we had many firsts and you have experiences lots of newness in your life.  It's been stressful for us all, but you've handled it beautifully.  You have a had a new sister, a new house, a new school, a new wii (you played the old one so much it broke:), a new church, a new haircut, and  new friends.  It's been a hard, but you've grown so much through all our newness.  Thanks for being such a little trooper.
