Another for the Scrapbook

Matt had sinus surgery on Monday morning. I had my little sidekick, Barrett with me, we waited in the outpaitient waiting room for 4 1/2 hours. He was such a trooper, he whispered almost the entire time, he didn't whine and complain at all until about the last half hour we were there. The nurse called the waiting room and said Matt was out and as soon as he started to wake up they would call us back. Barrett thought this call meant we were done and could go home. I told him we had to wait for daddy to wake up so we can take him home. Barrett stuck his hands out in front of him and said in a very loud voice, "Well get him his coffee--the only way daddy can wake up is if he has his coffee" He gave everyone in the waiting room a good chuckle.
