Saturday, November 19th we took the kids to Homecoming in Tallahassee. It was Brooklynn and Barrett's first game and Braeden's first game in 6 years. Matt and I were excited to relive our Seminole days, but hoping the tickets we purchased were far away from the student sections we use to sit in.
Thursday before we left for Tally we received a call that we couldn't check-in to our hotel until after the ballgame. I told the lady that would be very difficult with a 7:30 game and 3 young children. She said to come on and they would try to get us a room. When we arrived at our hotel the Seminoles were still in the rooms. We waited out front as the team came out and the kids ran and got signatures from everyone they could including Jimbo Fisher and the sweet kicker that had such a disappointing game, but a wonderful spirit. He spent a ton of time signing the kids hats and banners and talking with them. I'm posting the interview from him at the end of this post--such a good guy!

We had a great time and the kids loved it even if it was a hard game to stomach!
This is the press conference after the game with the kicker Dustin Hopkins who missed the field goal in the final 2 seconds. The noles lost to Virginia 14-13. It was a heart breaker, but the kids loved every minute of it!! Wish there were more kids like Dustin in the spotlight to speak out at State Universities.
